Firewood stacking discussion

Anyone with a wood stove may find it useful. http://permies.com/t/41230/woodland/stacking-firewood" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Maybe we could do some discussions here (and maybe show some pics of your wood pile?). Wha...

Re: Troll Control
The problem is the comments help with the video ranking. Disabling comments would basically lower the ranking and fewer people will see them.

Re: new user and phpbb comments
I agree it is a good idea to have all your ducks in a row and keep the forum updated. From personal experience I know an outdated forum software can and will get hacked as soon as some idiot comes along and realizes they can cause some trouble. This can actually lead to your host banning you. This h...

Re: Wood gasifier
Wood gasification has many uses if done right. Can run gasoline powered engines, can get more heat from a given amount of wood, and could potentially be used to generate electricity (power a small engine on wood gas and use it to turn a generator). Re: The DIY Passive Solar Window Heater
My two cents.. I have experimented a little with passive solar heating. Simply opening the curtains on sunny days and closing them back (being sure the curtains are thick and insulating) does wonders in a well insulated home. It saves me quite a bit of money doing this. For example, the last several...

Some advice concerning the forum
I came back to the forum after your recent video about users coming to the forum to be sure you get their advice. In your recent video you talked about being able to ban entire households, IP addresses, and reporting them and such. This is only partially true. I have ran forums over the years and ha...

Concerning "getting fully off the grid for $5,000"
"How to get your home fully off the grid for $5,000" I am a long time subscriber (and enjoy your videos) and someone who wants to get off-grid. However you may want to remove that little tidbit from your site and YouTube description because I haven't seen you show this and I don't see how it can be ...

Re: What happened?
He's still posting. I've been around long enough to know that sometimes he will upload multiple videos a day and it can be as long as a week between videos depending on if he has the time and electricity.
